This Privacy Policy explains how Opes Analytics (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you visit this website, submit the contact form, purchase a software license, subscribe to a membership, or use the Opes Analytics desktop application. By using this site or our services, you confirm that you have read and understood this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the site or our services.

We offer two distinct products, which involve different data processing:

• A software license (a one-time purchase granting access to the Opes Analytics desktop application)
• A membership subscription (recurring billing granting access to periodic PDF research reports produced using the application, without access to the application itself)

Where this policy describes data collection or processing specific to one of these products, it is noted accordingly.

Personal information you provide directly:

• Your name, email address, and any message details submitted through the contact form
• Billing information provided when you purchase a software license or subscribe to a membership, which is collected and processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details ourselves.

Software license customers only: when you purchase a software license, we (via our license management provider, Keygen) generate and store a license key associated with your email address and purchase date. When you activate or use the desktop application, it transmits a one-way cryptographic hash of a device identifier (not any raw hardware or other personal information) to verify your license is being used on an authorized device. This data is not collected from membership subscribers, who do not receive or use the application.

Membership subscribers only: your email address is used to deliver periodic PDF research reports and to manage your recurring subscription (billing, renewal, and cancellation).

Non-personal information collected automatically: browser type, device type, approximate location, time zone, and general usage and navigation patterns while using this website.

We use your information to:

• Process software license purchases and activate or validate your license for use of the desktop application
• Process membership subscriptions and deliver the associated PDF research reports
• Respond to messages submitted through the contact form
• Send service-related communications, such as your license key, purchase or subscription confirmations, billing notices, and changes to these policies
• Understand how the site is used and improve its functionality
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions

Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis (including the EU/UK GDPR), we process your personal information based on:

• Contractual necessity, to provide the software license, membership, or service you have requested
• Consent, where you have given it
• Legitimate interest, in operating, securing, and improving the site and our services
• Legal obligation, where processing is required by law

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it with service providers who support our operations, under confidentiality and data protection obligations, including:

• Stripe, our payment processor, for one-time software license purchases and recurring membership billing
• Keygen, our license management provider, for software license customers only. Keygen stores your email address, license key, purchase date, and a hashed device identifier to activate and validate your software license
• Resend, our email delivery provider, to send license keys, subscription communications, and PDF reports
• Legal or regulatory authorities, where required to comply with the law or enforce our rights

The analysis Opes Analytics provides includes one layer that is driven by artificial intelligence. That layer is powered by the Anthropic API (Claude models), operated by Anthropic, and is used to review the fundamentals of shortlisted securities as part of our research process.

The data sent to the Anthropic API is market and company information used for securities analysis. It does not include your personal information: your name, email address, contact-form messages, license key, device identifier, or billing details are never sent to the Anthropic API. Anthropic acts as a service provider processing that analytical data on our behalf, subject to its own terms.

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, respond to your inquiries, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. For software license customers, this includes retaining license and device-activation records for the duration your license remains valid. For membership subscribers, this includes retaining billing and delivery records for the duration of your subscription and any applicable renewal or cancellation period.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of your personal data
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
